1. How many staff members do you have including Registered Managers, Care Workers, Senior Carers, Nurses, Management etc?
2. What level/tiers of qualifications do your carers fall in. (What’s the ratio of Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 carers in their team. If available take down the number of carers in each tier). Which Specific training is given to your staff? mandatory and service user-specific, Refresher training? Annual or Triennial?
3. What recruitment and retention strategies do you have in place for inducting staff, and what procedures do you follow to manage staff shortage? (This could be brief details on your hiring procedures, how and where you advertise it, the recruitment criteria, and what checks your employees go through before getting onboard).
4. Prior Contract Examples (Public or Private) (Title, Duration, Budget, Council Name, Contact Person’s name/email)
5. Description of the contracts including (Number of service users, Types of services/accommodation given, Types of service users based on their age/condition, general characteristics before they were brought into care, and Outcomes/Results during)
6. Details of relevant experience. (This could be the information that could be mainly used when you do not have any prior contract examples. Here you can add their leadership or staff’s experience of delivering similar services including the type of services or organisations you have been associated with, tasks and care you have been providing to the service users)
7. What systems or protocols you have in place within your organisation to ensure that the industry’s standards of compliance & ethics are being followed. (Please mention the complians tools & procedures you are using for monitoring )
8. What type of IT infrastructure do you have or will have in place? Including (name of IT administrator, Common software or apps in utilisation, Care planner/Rota, Cloud-based servers, secure email address system, Data protection tools etc)
9. What procedures the organisation has or will have in place to adhere to quality standards? (this could be details to certain tools or procedures if you have them in place already defined, or take down their approach on this and how you will be looking to achieve it)
